Bring International NASCAR or IROC back?

Question

Is there any way that IROC will come back or that someone will start an international NASCAR seires type of thing, so maybe one day it will be in the olympics or recongized across the world?

the whole problem is in my opinion is what kinda car would they run, the whole world runs open weel or formula one, NASCAR which is in the US runs stock so if they did do the whole IROC, i would want to see a different car and as far as the olympics...i think it would be good but how many countries would represent that...you dont have racing organizations all over, china where the olympics were held is more into drift racing so there are too many forms of racing to narrow it down to where everyone could compete in the same cars

There are already stock or touring car series in many countries.  Off the top of my head there is the British Touring Car Championship, the DTM (Germany), V8 Supercars (Australia), Super GT (Japan), Brazilian Stock Cars, and the World Touring Car Championship sanctioned by the FIA.  The DTM and Supercars are exceptionally popular in their countries.  There is also the Speedcar series that has run carburated engines in 6 events in Europe and the Middle East.  

NASCAR is not the be all and end all of racing.  There is a lot more out there than that one sanctioning body.  Of course the chances NASCAR will want to cooperate with these other groups is small.

I think for some reason ppl dont want to like nascar or give it a chance and the open wheel drivers in other countrys is the thing and Nascar seems like its simple "they just turn left" but us fans know its alot more then that and actually alot better then open wheel in my opinion
