How?? Boycott the two biggest suppliers in the country. Shell and B.P. If we do this as a nation their profits will drop. While others will rise. How do they get customers back?? Drop the price.its so stupid it will probably work if enough people do it. Tell your friends about it.Not my idea. It came from bob on yahoo message boards. But it`s got to be worth a try.

  1. You think your fuel is expensive. We`re paying £1.29 a litre and we don`t have any of these suppliers.

  2. i am up for it ,, bring it on lets kick ***

  3. The fuel companies make around 5p on a litre of fuel.

The Government makes around 79p on a litre of fuel.

So, how will a boycott of Shell and BP reduce the price of fuel?

That's right - it WON'T (especially since they supply the fuel for your local Sainsbury's and Tescos and Morrison's and Asda and...).

  4. This was first suggested at least three years ago. It didn't work then and it won't now. Sounds fine in theory, but in practice millions of people (which is what would be needed) can't be organised to work together.

  5. Okay, lets all starve and go broke to save some money!  Ever hear of Swedish bargaining?  The more you wait, the more the price rises, until you can't wait any more.  The price will have to go up for the oil connection companies to stay solvent.  Or hey, they can all send the oil to other countries, and we can deal with our consequences.  No way you can get out of it unless you learn how to levitate.

  6. It will never happin untill Americans wake up and stand up to the GOV

  7. Did I hear that thing before? And what happened? Nothing..... And it isn't Shell or BP. It is tax on petrol. The real price is around 35-40 pens per litre. Top of it - Government tax. Who will provide money for "help" in Iraq and Afghanistan and who knows where? Who will pay for perks for MPs?..... And lots of single mums ( And I didn't mean Heather)

  8. It's not too expensive, I can still hear over-revved engines and screaming tyres.

  9. Why do people always fall for this foolishness?

    1. You can never get enough people to do this to where they would notice it.

    2. As soon as the "boycott" is over then gas would sell at very high rates(everyone would want to get the gas they were boycotting) so they would end up losing no money.
