  1. My guess is that they all would be OK.

Just declare at customs that you are carrying drugs/medicines and show them to the officer.  If you are carrying them in good faith, and declare them.. even if they are a prohibited import, you will not get in any trouble.. as long as you declare them.  The worst that will happen is they will be confiscated.

But most pharmaceuticals are OK to bring into Australia...

Like i said, you CANNOT get into any trouble bringing anything into Australia... as long as you declare it to a Customs officer, and you are carrying it in good faith.

Its when you try to hide them that you get into trouble.

  2. All of these drugs listed are available in Australia.  Half of them are prescription -only, half are freely available over the counter.  As long as you are not trying to bring in commercial quantities of the prescription -only drugs, I wouldn't bother declaring it to customs.  They say you should carry copies of your prescriptions when you travel internationally just in case they get lost or you get stopped and asked about them.

  3. If they are prescription only, the likelihood is that you will be asked to produce your prescription for them. If, as you say, they are for your mother, then YOU will not have a prescription and will probably not be allowed to import them.

Look up "AQIS" (Australian Quarantine & Inspection Services) or similar and get the info from there, not a site like this.

  4. so long as they are in the original packs and you bring letter from your doctor that you need them, also you must declare them to customs on arrival
