Bringing out eyes more??

Question

I have really blue eyes that are fairly big. I wear black mascara, black eyeliner, and Maybelline New York Shadow Stylist eyeshadow in vintage champagne if that means anything to you. If not it's kind of a gold-ish neutral color that's kinda sparkly. I want to bring them out a little more though. It's probably my best feature and I want to make it look as good as possible. So any suggestions??

Colours that really compliment blue eyes are : Violet, warm taupe, warm brown, gray, purple, soft peaches and fuschia(for a funky look).

Make sure you blend the eyeshadow really good. Darker the colour the smaller your eyes may look, or muddy. If your eye shadow is a brighter colour your eyes will look brighter.

Now if you line both top and bottom lashes with eyeliner it could be taking away from your eye colour. So try just lining the top and the outer 1/3 of the bottom lash line. than you can take a white eyeliner and line the rest of your bottom lash line with it to make your eyes brighter and stand out more.

You can also try different colours of eyeliner instead of just black. Purple and blue would look good as well and help more than a black liner.

Do you curl your lashes? If you don't, you should it helps alot to. And if you ever get those black dots on your skin because your lashes touches it before they are dry look down your nose to apply the mascara. Make sure there is no clumping either if there is brush your lashes out before they dry. Apply on your bottom lashes as well but with just one sweep. Too much and your going to look like your always surprised!

Keep your eye brows trimmed and in top shape. If they look good it will help your eyes out tons!

Keep the rest of your make-up a neutral colour to make your eyes get all the attention. It is okay to break this rule and apply some colour to your lip, just make sure this doesn't cause a "fight" among your eyes and lips for who gets the "leading role" on your face. It will just end up having people look at your nose instead!

And sometimes its okay to just make your lips stand out and go very bare on the eyes. For people you see every day this will make them look at your eyes more because they appear different than usual. Even if they don't say anything.

So just apply a nice colour on your lips and bare minimal on your eyes. do your mascara and white eyeliner and neutral/nude colour on your lid. that should do the trick.
