British travel visa address?

i have a connection flight from london . so as per travel agent i need to have us passport or british visa

Usually in the US you get the passport and visa at the US Post Office. Not at all post offices such as the branches, but at the main offices.  You can ask at an post office where to go.  Be sure to have some passport pictures made first. You also need a birth certificate, and other forms of identification.

do you have a recent passport ? or are you asking where to apply for a passport ?

if you are going to London and are an American citizen ; you do not need a visa ....

but yes , you need a passport :-)
