Broadway Shows With British Accents?

I am trying out for an oliver production, and i want to sing a song with a British accent for my audition. I can find my own songs/ monologue but i would like to have some plays suggested Any help would be nice. Thank You!!! :]

  1. Blood Brothers. Any of Mrs. Johnson's Marylin Monroe (she sings three different versions.) Or "Tell Me it's not True"... Come to think of it, all of her songs are really beautiful.  


  2. for songs, i agree, something from my fair lady would be good. the one with the strongest accent though is "wouldn't it be loverly" but be careful, there is a difference between cockney accents and modern british accents. for monologues, try the importance of being earnest. oscar wilde is great.
