Broken TV , Cheap parents

Question

I was havin a party. My mom left to go shopping. She trusted me and everyone. They were all in teens.

The problem is that a girl and a boy were fighting (while I was away to pick up a kid) and they broke the tv.

My mom just wants a tv back in good quality and the tv has warranty for a year, which I think wont work.

The girls parents are not willing to pay full price. They just wanted to pay a percentage or the face value of the same tv now, even when they are stinkin rich. The dad even said so.

The dad even said he would sell his own daughter to pay back for the tv. Isn't dat cheap.

The boy said he was willing to work for the money and sell his stuff for it.

How is all this going to work out?

get a job and buy a new tv yourself your parents were nice enough to let you have a party they arent made of money you know

take any money they are willing to pay even if it is just a little bit and you think it' s unfair it's still better than nothing. Get the boy to sell his stuff or pay back his portion. Warranty for the tv only works if the tv components fail to work not when someone knocks over the tv or kicks a hole in it so the warranty won't cover the repair costs. I dont' know how expensive the tv is but it's almost always better to just buy a new tv. You can find tvs  in garage sales or on craigslist or newspapers or local discount department stores.

The girl and boy both can do chores for your family to make up for this. Also what were they even fighting for? Never ever leave even friends home alone without someone in your family there ever again. Why is a boy fighting a girl anyways? Unless the girl attack him and he was trying to defend himself a guy shouldn't be fighting a girl. This sounds crazy. Why wasn't the other kids doing anything to stop them from fighting? Did they edge them on and that's why they felt guilty?

if you cant make the parents pay full price then take the percentage there offering I mean if you want a t.v. fix your going to need all the money you can get
