Broken phone from verizon wireless.?

Question

I have an enV that's broken. I'm positive they give you a new free one if its broken, but what will they give me since they don't carry that phone anymore?

Some stores still carry them, my husband has one and he broke his 2 weeks ago and I thought he was going to have to buy the new one but after going to two stores, the second store still had a few of the older ones they traded with him, he just had to keep his old battery.
