Bromine Tablets for Above Ground Spa?

Question

Are the bromine tablets to be left in the Spa everytime it's not in use? Other than checking Ph balance, and adjusting accordingly with Ph up and down, what other chemicals do I need? Thanks ya'll

All i use in my spa is powder chlorine. One capful a day filter runs 2 times a day for 2 hours each time. Never had a problem yet. Good luck and enjoy.
