Brown streak under my fingernail?

There Is A Brown streak under my fingernail.What is it?

And how can i get rid of it?

Sometimes streaked fingernails are a sign of heavy metal poisoning. Don't panic, i'm probably wrong. But go to your Doctor, if there is any chance you could have ingested something bad.

How well do you wipe?

It might grow out as the nail grows.

could be a splinter especially if it is perpendicular to the nail bed.  try some tweezers to get it out.  if it is deep into the nail it may be an old bruise where the blood, now surfaced, has turned brown.  You'll have to wait for it to grow out.  cover with fingernail polish if it is a problem.

Sounds like a fungal infection, nothing serious - your doctor will give you a ointment that that you paint on your nail and it should be gone in a couple of weeks
