When I have more than one Internet Explorer browser windows open and I try to close on, it goes completely white and will not close. I go back to the other window, but it won't work. Then a message comes up and it says, "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." Do you know what I can do about this? I deleted my history and checked the settings menu, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks for the answers!!

  1. IE is horrible -- you need to get firefox because it's safer, faster and I think it's more stable - here is a site that tell you how to make firefox 10 times faster and also has a download link http://analysisandreview.com/troubleshoo...

  2. you could try opening them up in tabs instead of windows. that's what i do. or you could try using Firefox, that's what i use because internet explorer is a pain in the ***. literally. i hate internet explorer. Firefox is the same as internet explorer except better. but try using the tabs first.

  3. ctrl + alt + del  then go to task manager.

    click on the processes tab.

look for iexplore in the list, click on it and go end process. (if popup appears click yes)
