Bsa c15 bike question?

im building a c15 but i need to know if there is a bearing which goes on the yoke somewhere? (top of the forks) if yes where and what does it look like?

yes 2 bearings but don't over tighten the top yoke nut or you will not be able to steer properly.

Had a C15 in 1963, yes we did have motorbikes then, flat out down hill about 65mph. Up graded to a Bonnie.

Enjoy it, it is one of those classics that are only seen infrequently.

im asuming on that age of bike its ball bearings...you could always upgrade to roller bearings..

Yes there is a yoke bearing in fact 2 as there is an upper and lower

Google bearing suppliers in yout area and take the old ones with you and they will be able to get the correct ones and like the guy before has said you could upgrade to rollers

Try getting a "haynes" manual for the bike as there is adjustments that need to be made in order that the bearings are not tight nor loose and the manual will help with all manner of areas that you will encounter

I have renovated many early Brit bikes and the C15 was a great bike in it's day.  Make as good a job of it as you can and you will enjoy riding it even if you ride a modern bike as well
