Btec first Diploma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my certificates & I only got a pass in my BTEC first diploma. we had to complete 6 units & my cousre tutor told me that I only had to get three merits to get a merit overall & on my certifacte it says that I only have a pass!!! but I want to go on & study the national Diploma but I don't know if I can now so im f*cked!! is there any chance that I can still do it???? I don't have the GCSE's too get onto the course so i'm stuffed, but I did manage too get a merit in the business first certifacte all irrelevant in the end because I don't want too study that course.

Your tutor "may" have given you bad information but you can't blame the tutor.  You should check directly with the Board of Education or the school you attend to determine overall requirements.  Having the word Pass is better than Fail, or Non-Pass, so I think you will be fine.  You can also check with the school counselor for more details.
