I bought a new 75 gallon tank for a baby RES turtle. I was wondering if I should use a bubbler in the tank and if so what are those products called that you can put near the back of the tank and it looks like a million bubbles are coming up? This was the best example I could find, it's situated at the back of the tank, it's bluish-green. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcnSTLB-wtc

  1. Yes they are cool..the turtles love to play in it. I had that in m ine and they would sit on top of the bubble rod itself, probaly tickled them.

  2. its called a curtain bubbler, or bubble curtain one of those.

i have the same exact one in my 50gal, i got it at wal-mart. It is basically looks like a stick.

    EDIT: check out this one:

i think i saw that one at wal-mart too, but it said that it has to be hold down by gravel, and i dont use gravel cause my turtles eat it. The "bubble curtain" uses suction cups.
