Budget Hen Do ideas in Edinburgh?

I am looking for ideas for my hen weekend in Edinburgh, so far i have come up with a spa option but was thinking about a sightseeing option for those not fussed with spa's.

Also need a good restaraunt in Edinburgh for the saturday night.

Hen weekend is late september.

dont do all that "girly"stuff,get down to the black rose,black bull,bannermans or any decent place with no frills,live music and a whole lot of fun!its not expensive either,there are plenty good buffet resurants in city centre too,italian,indian,chinese etc,as for sightseeing,try one of the open top bus tours,they cost about £8 pr person and take a nice route around places of interest in old and new towns,the clubs are varied too(im of the punk/rock persuasion so i dont do cheesy places with dance or r and b music)but really theres something for all tastes and requirements  good luck and have fun!

A good restaurant is "Heights" in the Apex International in the Grassmarket. Great views of the castle while you are eating and when you've finished you can wander into the Grassmarket and explore the drinking establishments.

You can book through 5pm and get a discount.
