  1. buy another female budgie and be sure that it has the same age with your male parakeet....  they will soon get along. i advice u not to buy another male because they are agressive like they are to people..

  2. Hi,

I think you should be ok with two males i have numerous pairs of budgies in my aviary and none fight there is only sqwarking etc when they are breeding so two males should be fine.

But if you don't want him to be bored then why don't you just buy some toys rather than another budgie. If you buy another bird to house with him then he won't be tame anymore as what ever s*x he will want to be with his own kind and not you.

  3. if you are going to get another budgie, when you do dont put them in the same cage right away. get a seperate cage that you can put beside the older one. and aslong as they seem to be getting along, and the older cage is a good size, you'll be alright to get anoher male. getting a female will make your budgie bond to closly with her and pay no attention to you and start getting aggressive.
