Budgie question?

my budgie is kinda trusted by me i feel that i forced it on her.she lets me pick her up scratch he rneck at times but i feel like i did it wrong.i feel like we could be more trustworthy to our selfs if i listened to the websites.but i get to excited when i buy an animal.is there anyway to gain trust more?she seems comferable at my home right now shes flying through the house chirping but i just wanna know if i can gain enough trust to get her to play games and stuff with me . is there anyway to get at this level?any tips?anything!?

but you are doing a great job! i've had budgies and it's hard to get their trust.

Don't try to force yourself on her, just supply her food and water and talk to her when you have the chance. Give her a chance to get used to you. Eventually she may feel comfortable enough to initiate contact by flying to you and landing on your shoulder or jumping on your hand when you're cleaning her cage. Try talking to her and teach her to talk. It's all about forming a bond with your pet. Once the bond is formed, you'll be able to teach her tricks and play games with her. Be sure to buy her fun toys and a mirror or two. Budgies love mirrors.

It may take a long time, but when it happens, you'll know it...and you'll have a friend for the rest of her life.
