Bug in the kitchen?

on my kitchen floor there are usally ants on the floor in my kitchen and im used to that i just smash em with my finger but today besides ands i saw AN unsually bug....it was tannish redddish and it looked like it was half shrimp half bug what is

it? thanks

Does it have long legs and long feelers? It may be a rice fly. It is a harmless creature but nevertheless kill it before is starts to have families in your kitchen. Keep all food stuff closed with lids.
