I have just purchased a flatscreen tv with built in freeview, but for some reason i cant get all the channels.Do i need to purchase an independent aerial to get all the freeview channels.I have a skybox but i have recently unsubscribed as it was too exspensive, although i do get some freeview channels through the sky box but not all of them.Finnally when the changeover goes through will there still be the need to use an independent aerial if already not using one.

  1. My sister had the same problem, she went back to the shop and they told her to press the digital button/setting on, and yes you do need an aerial.  I think after the changeover we will still have to use aerials,

  2. You need a good signal to receive digital terrestrial channels. Two web sites below with plenty of guidance.
