  1. Myself don't consider it a sport where living beings are being hurt just for fun. Did you asked this twice?

  2. i dont consider it a sport.  its cruelty to animals

  3. cruelty to animals

  4. With-out a doubt....cruelty, and they should be stopped.

  5. I never could bring myself to go to one. I guess it depends. I think it is cruelty, but I'm a vegetarian so my views are swayed. But if you are into Spanish tradition, it is a sport. My family keeps trying to get me to go to the next, but I won't

  6. Yes, maybe sometimes the "novilleros" can be cruel with bulls, some in purpose, some because they are working and is their job. Remember also, that´s part of our culture and we have to respect that. Some corridas are not bad.

  7. cruelty to animals

*the sport requires you to be unharmed and to kill your opponent (bull)*

I don't see another sport where you have to kill a person for the fun of it.

*boxing and that sort of games are pretty close to killing

  8. I've been in Spain 4 times and just returned from 2 mos in Mexico, where bullfighting and cockfighting are a huge deal.

I personally believe that both are disgusting and cruel to animals in the extreme.

In both countries, its really a cultural thing. They consider the bullfight as an art form with nuances and skills which need huge knowledge to appreciate.

They would probably find some of our NA customs distaste full. For example, our NA practice of family disengagement. Meet once a year at Xmas etc.

They live together, Grandparents, parents, kids, uncles, aunts, dogs and take care of each other from cradle to grave.

What about extreme boxing? That's about the most disgusting thing that I've seen in NA.

  9. what they do to those animals is barbaric way beyond cruel do not get me wrong slaughter the bull and i'll cook up some steaks but what they are doing is celebrating the torture and destruction of these animals a special place in h**l should be reserved

  10. There should be no joy in hurting animals, but it happens all over the world, and all the time. If we can get human beings to stop killing each other in cruel and barbaric ways, in the name of religion and national aspirations, we may one day stop the killing and hurting of animals for sport.

  11. It's not as cruel as the way they treat those poor animals you stuff your face with everyday. I've known a few bullfighters when I lived in Spain and saw how the bulls get to roam around and aren't cooped up in some cage like most cattle. If you're worried about cruelty towards animals put down that cheeseburger!
