Burlington Lynn pocket watch?

can anyone give me any information on my pocket watch my great grandfather past on to me its solid silver the box says j w Benson ltd steam factory 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill,E,C the box is old and has red wax on it the pocket watch it self has the words Burlington Lynn and numbers 81666 and 23451 with the letter (E) and letters (JR) I think its Birmingham dated around 1898 the stamp inside has Lyon and something else I would love to know the history of it.did try and google this but no joy its open glass face
