Burning disk help???

Question

how do i burn a film onto a dvd recordable disk? like i have the movie in a file on my computer that i downloaded off limewire and i have a recordable disk but using windows media player it won't burn it :(

You need to use Nero or a similar package, check if the movie is avi, Divx, or MP4 then check that you have the Codex to play the movie on your DVD player. Or if you want to play it back on the PC download VLC player. its loaded with codex.

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

Windows Media Player can not do the necessary conversion to DVD format.  You need a separate program that convert the file and burn it to DVD.  There are some free programs here   http://www.download.com/3150-2646_4-0-1-...
