Question:

Burnt food=less calories?

As I remember from high school physics class burning food causes the energy in the food to be broken down along with calories. Fat=stored energy so my question is, does burnt food cause a person to have less intake of fats and calories?

Also, I do realize burnt food doesn't not taste good. hahaha

thanks

  1. is that why blackened steak is so expensive?  i think cute is correct

  2. if you have two identical pieces of ummm chicken (over used example but oh well)

and you cook one, and burn the other, then the burnt one should have less calories

    but not a lot...

cause once you start burningit, you take it off the grill

if you burnt it to a crisp then of course less calories

just like if you burn a log it releases energy

but its easier, and much tastier to eat smaller portions

    mmmm BBQ chicken

  3. maybe, but if you get a steak and burn the edges just a bit, YUM!
