i'm going to dinner at ruth chris, i'm aware the business casual is appropriate there... i was curious whether or not it'd be okay to just wear a polo with some slacks or khakis... what would you guys say to that?

  1. Sounds appropriate to me.

  2. yea, sounds safe

  3. ~~I personally think a button shirt with a collar would be more appropriate. You know the people better, so if you feel comfortable in a polo shirt, and you don't have a button up, then wear it.~~

  4. I would say no.  Collared long sleeve dress shirt is better.

If you're going to wear polo shirt, at least tuck it into your pants with a classic belt and wear dress shoes.

  5. you can only make 1 first impression so make it a good one

  6. That's fine. "Golf style" is appropriate.

  7. I would say a polo might be a little under dressed. Go a business shirt minus the tie with the top two buttons undone.
