Business out of garage?

Can you run a business out of your garage in a residential neighbourhood? Is it even possible???? and wat kinda business do u think would b best?? please i want/need ur opinions... thank you soo much

  1. I would say yes, but it could only be used as office space, or storage. Your neighbors would have reason to call the building department on you if you decided to run a store or something along those lines, out of your garage. You should check your local zoning laws. Your neighbors can not place a complaint if you are using it as office space or storage, because it wouldn't involve tons of traffic through the place. It all has to do with safety and fire codes.


  2. As I understand your question, no you cannot.  Your house would need to be in an area that is zoned for business in order to have customers call at your garage to make purchases.  

    If you are zoned residental, then whatever business you operate from your home cannot include customers coming to visit you.

  3. You could run a

    card place

    board game

    tournament place

    Gameplace (sell games)

    You'd need a good garage though! :)
