Is it possible to explore Western Australia by bus, using reliable lines like Firefly or Greyhound?

Of course its possible.  Another option is Easyrider.  They operate jump on jump off tour.

I have no association with easyrider.  I used to work at a YHA backpackers and was told by travellers that Easyrider is very good.

Pioneer is the busline in Australia, which was bought by Greyhound. They are only for commuting around Australia. They do not actually go to National Parks and other tourist centres.

Pinnacle Tours is a tourist busline that does all the tourist destinations which you can not get to by Greyhound.

But since WA is so huge you might be better off flying.
