Busy line ALL THE TIME!!!?

Question

Everytime i try to call my friend the line is busy. Yesterday i called at 4:00 and it was busy. 4:00 throguh 8:00 it was busy. Today i called and it was STILL busy!!! Could their power be out or phone unplugged or like forgot to unhook to the internet??

If they have to unplug their internet, it well could be that. On the other hand it could be that there are more people in the house than there is time to use the phone. I know that happens around here a lot. I sometimes don't get to use my own phone that I sometimes pay up to $200 for a month all night when my son and his girlfriend are here and decide to talk to their friends and she talks to her family. Then, of course, there are the calls to my honey's family and their's to him. So, I just about have to make an appointment. (smiles) But, if it continues, I would call the phone company and tell them that I had been trying to reach this particular phone number for days and I had not been able to get through and would ask them if there was a way they could check it quickly for me. Sometimes they will. They wont tell you much but if it is working or not. but at least you would know.

it could be where the phone is off hook. and they don't know it is off hook. call the phone company. they can tell if the phone is in use or not.
