If you're asking would I buy second hand furniture, well, that really depends on what it is.  I have a desk, a dresser, and kitchen chairs that I bought second hand with no problem.  They are all in really good condition, and unique.  I would not buy fabric covered furniture such as a couch, arm chair, recliner, mattresses, and so on.  You never know what people do to things, or on them, I wouldn't want to take any risks.  My desk , dresser, and kitchen chairs are completely wooden, any damage would be visible.  A couch, recliner, etc, you can never really be sure what is lurking within the fabrics..
