Buying a 1st horse?

Question

i am looking for my first horse and i was wondering what questions i need to ask the owner of the horse i am looking at. i live in indiana and i live in a neighborhood and i was wondering if there is any places near greenwood, IN where i can board him, and i also have another question: does anybody know how to load a troubled horse into a trailer? i need to know that (so says my uncle) and i don't know it so you have got to help me!!! please

how old is the horse?

what is the horse's attitude?

what is the horse's medical history?(as ppl easily lie about this, if you spend very much at all on the horse, you should have a vet check him out).

Does the horse have any vices?

Does the horse bathe, load, clip, etc. w/o any problems?

What kind  level of riding experience does the horse have or the rider need to have?

If you buy the horse. ask the people what they feed him( the type of grain).

when you go you should find a knowledgable, horsey friend or trainer to go with you to look at the horse.

If the horse you buy has no trouble loading, then you dont need to know how to load with problems-- your uncles just blowing smoke.
