Buying a new camcorder?

I've been wanting to buy a new camcorder for months. What kind should I buy? High Definition, Hard Drive, or DVD? Besides hd what has the best resolution? I have a tradition vhc camcorder, and the picture is very fuzzy and blurry at times, which is very frustrating. If I buy a camcorder that records on dvd is the picture going to be any better?

yes,HD is the best but DVD would be better Quality Please Answer Mine!
