Okies i dont no the differents from bluray and dvd hd and the normal onjes.. to me they all seem the same more or less...

Im wondeirng because recently im collectiing movies on dvd for the first time as i got ridd of the vhs player... i have a pioneer dvd recorder with digital tuner built in.

Should i continue to buying dvd movies? the movies i buy are quite expensive and they are then valueable for me.. But because technology is changeing for better quality i dont no if my collections are going to be any better.. the dvds i get are standard normal dvd movies.. nothing HD nothing blurray..

I just dont want to be stuck just like the same old VHS tapes..... then it means i have to get rid of the player and be re-buying the same movies i got on dvd as in (blue-ray dvd) which ends up a waste of money in the first place.

I have a plasma screen expensive tho big screen but not a full 1080i but its close enough.

So what should i be doing? continue buying dvd standard movies?

  1. Hi Newman,

It is only my personal opinion but I think standard DVD's will be around for a long time. The Blu Ray are very expensive and the benefit is small,

I intend to continue using standard DVD's and my friends pretty well feel the same way.
