Buying mtg is it just luck?

hello

i was just wandering if im in a row or something, ive been buying mtg boster packs the kind they sell at walmart, its a pack w/30 cards an a 10th edition booster in them for $5.something and in the last ones i've got a wrath of god + coat of arms + llanowar wastes and some other duals is this probably just a coincidence or are there better odds w these packs cause d**n, i havent got this lucky in a while.

just for thoughts has anyone bougth these?, and wat u got?

Did you get them in the pack itself or in the "repack".  I really don't buy cards from Wal-Mart.  I try to get them from card shops.  I think it's just luck.  They probably don't know what the cards are when they pack them so they just throw them in together.

there repacks no question because regular packs only contain 15 cards and the boosters contain like 70 but there like 20 bucks or so.

regular booster that have 15 are only 3.50 maybe.

You are just having luck. Usually repack put together cards that can not be sold as individuals (and generally useless on constructed formats).

Walmart, Target, Kmart and other retailers usually sell this repacks. If you want to buy MTG boosters, your best bet is your local games/comics store.
