How many bytes are in a kilobyte?

How many kilobytes are in a gigabyte?

Kilobytes :

- 1,024 bytes - This unit is used when expressing quantities which are based on powers of two, such as memory chip capacities. Most software also expresses storage capacity in units of 1024 bytes. Gigabytes :

- 1,000,000,000 bytes (or 1000 Kilobytes ) - used in telecommunications (such as network speeds) and most computer storage manufacturers (such as hard disks and flash drives).

- 1,073,741,824 bytes - commonly used for computer memory and file sizes.
