  1. y the h**l u keeping them in a small cage????

  2. The cockatiels need a large cage.

The lovebirds need a medium cage.

No bird should live in a small cage. They are inhumane.

If you put them together, someone will die, likely the cockatiels.

  3. Hi,

Thye will fight and maybe kill each other in a small cage, the two species only mix in a large aviary. Lovebirds are very aggressive and cockatiels like to be inquisitive, which the lovebirds don't like and so attack.

  4. Nothing should be kept in a small cage.  A bird needs room to flap around, crawl on the cage, and have room for toys.  No, don't try to keep lovebirds and cockatiels together.  They will most likely fight, and it is very possible for them to severely injure or even kill one another....

  5. NOOOO! Especially in a small cage. Lovebirds are really agressive birds and should not be placed in the same cage as other birds. They will nip and bite the other birds. You should never really mix any birds together in the same cage. Especially not hookbills.

  6. Lovebirds can be very aggressive with other birds including other lovebirds, comparing a cockatiel to a lovebird the lovebird will outwit the cockatiel and will likely be caught biting the cockatiel's toes to pieces and biting its legs. The best thing for a cocaktiel is a cockatiel and the best thing for a lovebird is a lovebird mixing different types of hook bills is never recommended and can have horrid results.

So if u care about your birds keep them out of reach from each other.
