CD Stores on Sao Paulo?

Question

Does somebody know where I can find a great CD store in Sao Paulo.

I'm gonna stay at Praça Da Arvore Hostel (Rua Pageu, 266 - Chacara Inglesa- Sao Paulo)

What would you recommend? I'm interested mostly in rock and traditional jazz. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you would be able to find somewhere close by, but if you can consider take a subway and reach Paulista avenue, you will find a FNAC store, that is quite good. Get metro, on you neiborhood to Turucuvi direction, leave at Ana Rosa station and get the other one that goes under the avenue, leave at Brigadeiro station.

The store I am mentioning goes just across the street from GAZETA building. It is undeground store, so you have to pay attemption or you may loose, just by walking on the street.
