CRAZY runner?

Question

I ran against a freshman 800m runner yesterday who ran a 2:02 (crazy.) Although I lost to the kid by 6 seconds, would by 2:08 be consider an alright time for a freshman boy?

thats really good. the best kids on our team get around 2:10s - 2:15s.

hey man i ran the same time too and i am also a freshman

top 800 runners taht are freshman on my track team are me (2:08) and two twins who run a 2:05 and a 2:04... both freshman... we also have a kid who was a freshman last year and he ran a 1:57 last year (but he's top 5 in the state)
