CRT Hdtv help?

i have a 48in crt HDTv and i use this to play my xbox 360 every now and then the screen goes slightly with like several lines racing down the screen at a very fast pace like scanning really fast what is causing this. Note that it doesnt do it all the time and if it matters i play it at 720p using component but when this happens i go to 1080i where it seems to slightly tone it down abit.

It sounds like a signal interference. Is some electrical equipment running nearby when this occurs? Something with an electric motor? Also check your connections; you could have a lose connection that is causing this signal interference.
