Cake mix/cupcake question?

Question

Hi- will a regular sized boxed cake mix make at least 20 cupcakes? needed for kids class of 19 and the teacher tomorrow

It can if you put only half of the batter in each one.

Use paper cups, add icing too!!!

I always use a 1/4 measuring cup  to get 24 cup cakes.

The patty tins have 12 cups. Line two trays with paper cups. Fill the paper cups till 2/3 full.

That will get you 24 cup cakes. 4 for the family. :D

My cake mix will make 20 - 24 cupcakes .I'd assume most are the same ...just don't put too much cake batter in the cupcake papers.. it will spill over .

The back of the box states 24 medium cupcakes.

I think the boxes say 24 cupcakes.  Fill the cups about 2/3 full.  You can always put extra frosting on top if they're a little short:)  (and sprinkles)

It should be enough. Just spread a reasonable amount of batter across 20 muffin cups and then distribute the extra batter among them. If the cupcakes are a little bit small, you could make the frosting layer a little bit thicker, add sprinkles, etc.

Mini Cupcakes.  They are the best.  Little and bite size.  Cant go wrong for kids.  They take up alot of time, but I use 2 trays to cut down on the baking time.
