Question:

Calendar time problem?

I'm in the Central time zone, and have set my calendar to reflect that. When I display the calendar on the MyYahoo page, it adds 2 hours to the actual appointment time. If I set a time of 1:00 pm when I set up the appointment, it is displayed as 3:00 pm on the calendar on MyYahoo page.

  1. I'm also having this problem.  Must be a doozy!

  2. Yahoo! says they've heard us, and are working on the issue (see source link).

  3. Same problem.  Just posting because I'm hoping someone will get on this.  I think it must be a system issue.  FYI, I am in the EST, my time and date display correctly on the taskbar, and in the Yahoo Calendar.  But on the calendar module on my Yahoo Home Page, the time displays as 3 hours later!  This is frustrating and needs to be addressed!

  4. I nor any one has an answer yet. Why Yahoo?

  5. another me too from the East Coast, 3 hours off, first noticed it yesterday.

  6. I just switched over to using the My Yahoo start page & included the Yahoo calendar on it.  Like others, I set events on the calendar at the right time, and they stay with the right time on the calendar itself, but the calendar info on my start page has every event at 3 hours later.  I'm in Central time zone, but haven't yet found where I set my time zone.  However, from the sounds of other complaints, this is not the problem.  Did this problem just start to occur?

    Any new suggestions?

    Thanks . . .

  7. I'm hoping that someone will answer this as I am having the same problem.

  8. Same problem, just started messing up a week or so ago.  Usually works great.

  9. I'm having the same problem except I'm off by 3 hours.  I'm in the eastern time zone so I suppose for some reason in MyYahoo it's changing to pacific time.  I have no idea how to fix the problem though.  This just started today.
