California Driving age?

Ok...well im 15 1/2 and i know im allowed to get my permit now. i Was wonding that if when I turn 16 i can get my drivers license. When im 16 can i drive with passengers or no?

No unless they are over 25 and when you turn 17 then you could drive blood related relatives and then 18 you can drive anyone

you can get your permit when you are 15 1/2

in order to get your permit you have to take drivers education online or in class. online is faster. in class you take 8 hour courses for four days.

after you pass drivers ed... take drivers training.

then take your written permit test at the dmv

(community colleges usually have packages for drivers ed/ drivers training)

you have to have your permit for 6 months until you can drive alone.

but pass your driving test at the dmv after your 6 months of your permit is up

and your first 12 months of having your license you cannot transport anyone under 25

and cannot drive between 11pm and 5am

it's a lot of work

you cannot just get your license when you turn 16.

in california you can get your permit until your 17 1/2 if you took drivers ed than you can get your license. and you can drive with passangers but not late at night. you know likle after 10 and and before 7 or 8 in the morning.

When you're under, you get your provisional license if you pass the test. That means you have to wait 12 months before you could transport passengers under age 25 (?).

Yeah, you can drive with passengers as long as there is a licensed driver over 25 present.

That is the rule for the first 12 months (so until you're 17).
