California Motorcycle and Driver License?

I have the CA M1 license and want to get the driver license too. Do I have to pass written test again?

If I am not mistaken, when you passed the written the first time around, you completed all 25 motorcycle questions but only 18 out of the 36 passenger car questions.  You would have to pass the full 36 question test.  If you did do both the 25+36 instead of the 25+18, then the DMV has a formula based on how many tickets you received since you scored the last test.  Without knowing the specifics, I would have to say that if you have had one or zero tickets since scoring well on the 36 question test, then good chance you would not have to pass that test again.  But I am almost certain that you only took an 18 question passenger car test in addition to the 25 question motorcycle test, because if you completed both test in full then would you or would you not also have a passenger car permit plus the motorcycle license then?
