California diesel laws.?

Is it against the law in California for diesels carrying anything to cross rail road tracks without stopping.

  1. No only passenger busses and hazardous materials are required to stop


  2. Only if there hauling Hazmat dangerous chemical and thing like that. In every that's the law state how I know this cause my husband has been driving a big truck for over 9 years. But a lot of drivers don't stop at the rail crossing cause the feel no need to and they figure if they do that few mins. is going against  there log book cause they only have 10 hours to drive 14 hours.

  3. As stated above the law is only if they are caring dangerous chemicals and the truck would be marked.
