Calling all Vegans and Vegetarians!!!?

I need help with some new snacks. My favorite snacks are like nuts and seeds, banana chips, plantain chips, fruits, and carrot sometimes. To be honest my list of prepackaged snacks are not so much my favorites anymore. So vegans please share your favorite pre-packaged snacks with me so I may try them. Also if you make your own snack I would like to know your recipes as well so I may try them as well. Thank you :)

  1. A local co-op sells vegan carob chips.  A handful of these with nuts and raisins hits the spot for me!

  3. Hummus with pita bread is an amazing snack.  It's delicious and it's a great source of protein.  

    Anything with peanut butter is also great.  Peanut butter on toast, apples, in a smoothie, anything.  Also a glass of soymilk is good.

    Various chips and dips.  Salsa is good.  Guacamole is an excellent dip to use as well.

  4. raisins, banana chips, apple chips,  dried fruit,

    pretzels, veggy chips, peanut butter(I make sure it is brand without animal tallow)!

  5. If you don't like apples, try pears with peanut butter =] yum.

    hummus (a chickpea puree) can be easily made or store bought and served with your favorite crisp veggie (carrots my favorite) or pita bread (also good on bagels!)

    home made is really quite simple though and you can adjust it to your liking-- i recommend it. and try out different variations! you can start with this:

    freezing your favorite fruits (blueberries, grapes, strawberries, etc.) gives them a nice texture and is a refreshing snack in the summer.

  6. I wouldn't say prepackaged, but I love green apples and peanut butter or almond butter.  

    Keep it simple  A piece of fruit and a handful of nuts is the best snack.

  7. Clif bars are really good, especially the Clif Builders Bars. I also like Odwalla Bars, Organic Food Bars, Nature's Path Optimism Bars, Fruit Leather, Salt-free Pretzels, apples with peanut butter or almond butter, almond milk, and fruits or veggies.

  8. Non~vegetarian here but I do like to replace radishes for chips with my sandwiches ...   I just wash them, and slice them thin, and keep them in fresh water in the fridge.  They are crispy!

    So why don't you just take some time to prepare fresh instead of packaged for a change?  Prepare the night before if time is limited in the mornings.

    You can mix celery, broccoli, carrots, and have some wheat thins with them.
