If I were to buy a calling card to call someone long distance from my home phone..Would it show up on my next phone bill? Like the number I called that is. And the charge will just be deducted off of my calling card correct? Im just really worried about the number showing up on the phone bill. So if you can get back at me, that would be amazing everyone. Thank you so much!

  1. no, it will not show up! its a toll free number, hence no tariff!

I use it all the time!

and your are right....its none of their business!!

  2. lol why dont u want the number too show?? hiding something are we now/??

  3. To make a call on a calling card you will dial an 800 number to connect. There is no charge for the 800 number so it will not show up on your phone bill as you card is charged for the call. The card can be used anywhere, even with a pay phone.

Using them does not in any way mean you are trying to hide something... sometimes it is cheaper to use them.. you are at a friends house and do not want them to pay for your phone call, a lot easier if at a pay phone, etc.

  4. i have the same problem.. I'm trying to find out if you can just call from a payphone using the calling card?
