  1. Most all digital cameras can be repaired, but unfortunately unless your camera was a top of the range point and shoot, it will most certainly be more expensive to fix than to replace. The reason is the cost to dismantle, cost of replacement part, cost of installing and cost of calibration of the lens. Digital cameras are mass produced and use automated processes and cheap labour to assemble them. This compare to the process of dismantling / reassembly by a repair store that uses labour at $25 - 35 /hour is simply not competitive.

  2. Well you can fix it if you had gotten store warranty or manufactures warranty when you bought your camera. Contact the store you bought it from and they'll be glad to do business with you again, and if that doesnt work just contact the Company that the camera belongs too and they might be able to spare you the parts :)

  3. I think It'll be cheaper to buy a new one...

    Try craigslist.com

  4. get a new one

  5. nope, probably you have to get new one, it can be fixed but probably for a lot more than buying a new cam, and quality wouldn't be as good with fixed one so get a new one.

  6. Just get a new one. I will make everything a lot easier!
