Camera suggestions, please?

Well my friend and I have recently begun filming a short video series for YouTube. I used my parents' digital camera, and it works really great, but I want one of my own. Does anyone know of a good video camera that is inexpensive? It needs to be able to fit on a tripod, and it has to be able to zoom in on something WHILE filming.

  1. You can always go for Sony Handycam if you dont matter resolution much. I have tested and it works really great. It has even got Touchscreen with 800X digital Zoom and many more features! Just give it a try!

  2. canon hv20 was consumer / semi amateur camcorder of the year for 2007. i have it. its great. it'll run you around 600$ though. but idk maybe you don't need a camera that good. its really good, like indie film makers shoot some shots on these cameras

  3. heres one on eBay going for $1.00 usd its 12 mp seems like a good camera (i think i may buy one for myself)

  4. i have no clue but my camra is wicked good nut it was not cheep!

  5. Sony HDR SR5 Handycam , I wish i had one too!
