so i just got this camera (a red Fujifilm Z20)

its frikin awesome, but the thing is, i record ALOT of videos since im a dancer, and they record fine, but the thing is, when I upload the videos onto my laptop, they come up as an MPG4 file which I can't play in my Windows Movie Maker or my Windows media player. I know how to convert the videos on the computer, but that takes WAYYY TOO LONG.

is there any way i could convert the video file to another format on my camera so i don't have to repeat the same converting process over and over again ??

PLEASE HELP !!

[[you'd be much appreciated!!]]

  1. no there isnt a way.

im surprised when you say converting them takes too long. they must be 120 minute videos LOL

  2. vcams are generally stingy ... don't like to have original design settings tampered with.

try to convert mp4 files to avi or wmv

    - download Prism , Super or Kates (free) vid converters & open

    - add files - adjust output settings-> avi or wmv

    - click convert -> save to ur desired pc folder

    edit:

    - import converted file to wmmaker
