Cameras for yearbook?

Okay, so I'm choosing yearbook as one of my electives, do they give us cameras, or do we have to buy our own? Because my digital is a cheapy and I don't think the pics would come out good.

My school's yearbook staff have to use own cameras. The photography class, however, has a closet full of Canon dSLR to loan to students (nice, I thought), so many of them signed them out.

We can't give you a straight answer I am afraid. You need to ask them.

in most schools they provide you with a camera. my school

has the nikon d80.
