Can't download antivirus?

I had to reinstall Windows XP and now can't install the security software

I'm guessing you just can't connect to the internet at all.When you reinstall windows you delete your internet software,you need to reinstall that first.

What dose it says when you try to download antivirus?

oh yea make sure you dont donwload those windows xp 2008 antivirus because those are scams and very difficult in getting rid of them.

And try Avast or AVG they are both free.

i agree with that..you need internet connection first for your antivirus to be updated for all of the known and unknown malwares. but come to think of it, without antivirus, its kinda risky surfing the net.

The last time l did that windows automaticly installed the updates. lf that's what you mean. Or if your trying to install software from disk or internet. That still could be your problem. Go to windows update on the start menu all programs and install all your updates before you do anything else.

if ur trying to get something that u have to pay for contact the manufacturer otherwise try get a free one like avast
