Can't log on to linksys?

i put the the right address in my browser and typed in the right user name and password but i only get a blank page. does anybody kno wats goin on?

typed in the gateway address using your browser for linksys, usually it's 192.168.1.1

then typed in the admin's user name and password

admin user name : just leave it blank

admin password: admin

if it didn't work, just leave the admin user name blank, then use the word "password" for the admin password

double check your gateway address if it's 192.168.1.1

go to command prompt, type in ipconfig then look for gateway address

if you already have the gateway address, try to ping it

just type in ping [gateway address] then push enter

if you've got 4 replies and 0% loss, your computer is communicating with your linksys

but if you've got 100% loss, they're not communicating at all

if you really can't access the graphical user interface of your linksys, then you have to reset the linksys by pressing the reset button to put back all it's original settings to default..

note that resetting the linksys may affect your connection, so before resetting the linksys be sure that you already know the exact configuration of your linksys

or, if your linksys is still under warranty, you can contact the linksys tech support team..

they will not support your linksys for troubleshooting if your linksys is beyond the manufacturer's warranty, but you can still give it a try if you have some simple questions.
